| WHO
IS HEXJIBBER? |
(2001) My first ever animation.
It's a 15 minute long absurd improvisation. Gets a lot more action
packed in the second half.
|
| THE BOX |
(2001) Made in collaboration with Chris
Ball, another Interactive Arts student. Uses 'Carry Stress in
the Jaw' by Mr. Bungle as inspiration for a story about two rivaling
groups of children fighting over a mysterious box.

death of a household mouse. First shown at the 'Exchange' exhibition

August.

| THE
DRAWING HOBBY |
(2003 onwards) I began doing
these illustrations in October 2003 to vent my anxieties. They
avoid being self indulgent by being honest and self deprecating.
A selection of these drawings have been exhibited in Manchester
(at Pure Space Cafe Bar) and Liverpool (at the Biennial)
in 2004.
|
| DAILY
THING |
(2004 onwards) Illustrated diary. |
VISUALS
|
| S*PUNK |
(2004) S*PUNK is a mixed gay / student
friendly alternative club night in Leeds. I made visuals using
the 'rotoscoping' technique, which involved drawing over footage
of skateboarders. The visuals have also been shown at the Liverpool
Biennial 04, during an 'Art Crawl'.
|
| BEAUTIFUL
OCTOPUS |
(2004) Collaborating with the West Yorkshire
Playhouse, I made a some visuals for the Beautiful Octopus Club,
held at Club Evolution in Leeds. The Beautiful Octopus Club is
a cabaret club night celebrating the culture of people with learning
disabilities.
|
| HOT
STUFF KARAOKE |
(2004) Made for a Karaoke night, held at
the Green Room, Manchester, this is my rather literal interpretation
of Donna Summer's 'Hot Stuff'. |
DIARIES
|
|
| HOLLAND
HOBBY |
(2003) During my stay in Rotterdam, Holland
(on the ERASMUS scheme) I kept a diary of my exploits. Dutch life,
the Willem de Kooning Academie where I studied and the exhibition
I took part in are all here. |
